Hempfield Area School District rolled out the communication tool "Remind" District-wide in the 2019-2020 school year! If you're not already familiar with Remind, it's a classroom communication tool that makes it easy to stay involved with your child's learning. Remind is free for families to use, and you'll be able to receive and send messages on any device—even a simple text message from your phone!
Classroom accounts are created automatically for students via a sync with Skyward each school year. Each class is synced with the teacher's school email, student's school email, parent's email (if entered in Skyward), and parent's cell number (if entered in Skyward). (NOTE: If a cell number is not entered in Skyward, a parent account cannot be created.) This is a wonderful means of communication for the teacher, student, and parents.
