Stay Connected with Remind — Our District-Wide Communication Tool
Since the 2019–2020 school year, Hempfield Area School District has utilized Remind, a communication platform that helps keep families informed and engaged in their child’s education.
Remind is free for families and allows you to receive and send messages from any device—including simple text messages from your phone.
How It Works
Classroom Remind accounts are automatically created each school year through a secure sync with Skyward. Each class is connected with:

The teacher’s district email
-
The student’s district email
-
The parent’s email (if listed in Skyward)
-
The parent’s cell phone number (if listed in Skyward)
Note: If a parent’s cell phone number is not entered in Skyward, a Remind account cannot be created for that parent.
This tool offers a convenient and effective way for teachers, students, and parents to stay in touch throughout the school year.
