Core Characteristics of MTSS
Multi-Tiered Support System is a systematic approach for assisting students. It is a process that identifies struggling students before they fail. It supports struggling students throughout the educational process. The Intervention Coordinators work in conjunction with the regular education teacher and the Title I teacher to provide individualized instruction to students who are exhibiting a need for additional academic or behavioral support. The key characteristics of RtII include the following:
