Transportation

The Hempfield Area School District (HASD) contracts with DMJ TRANSPORTATION to provide bus services for our students.

The DMJ Terminal Manager is Mr. Len Coniglio. Dr. Matt Conner, the district's Assistant Superintendent, oversees the transportation department for the district.

For most students, the first and last contact with the school is the ride to school and back home.  The Hempfield/DMJ Student school bus drivers are very good at handling the “precious cargo” of our future, and realize the safety and responsibility of each and every student.

While there is no Pennsylvania law that limits the time a student may ride the school bus. Hempfield Area School district ride-time expectations aim for approximately 50-60 minutes of maximum travel time.  With the large geographic area our district covers, exceptions to this may occur.
