Chromebook Insurance
District policy requires students of grades three through twelve using a district issued Chromebook to purchase the annual non-refundable insurance policy. The fee is $25.00 for a single student, $40.00 for two students, and $60.00 for three or more students in a household. The insurance fee helps to cover unintentional and non-negligent damage that may occur. Damage that is considered to be intentional or negligent is not covered by this insurance, and associated costs are considered the responsibility of the student.
Insurance is to be paid prior to the start of the 2022-2023 school year for students of grades three through twelve and may be paid online using the following link https://osp.osmsinc.com/HASDPA/. Instructions for using the online payment system are linked here . Families who prefer to pay by check may do so by mailing to: Business Office, Hempfield Area School District, 4347 Route 136, Greensburg PA 15601. Individuals wishing to pay by cash may bring payment to the Administration Office between 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM any weekday. If insurance has not been paid by the first day of school, the device may be inactivated. Families with financial hardship should contact the school principal.
