Pre-K Counts Program
The classroom will be overseen by the Hempfield Area School District and will follow the calendar and daily schedule. There are a limited number of seats available for children ages 3 and 4 years old.
Pre-K Counts will be housed at 3 different locations within the district. However, you do not have to live within the school boundaries for your child to attend.
West Hempfield Elementary
Stanwood Elementary
Fort Allen Elementary
We will be following Pre-K Counts guidelines and programming from Pennsylvania Department of Education and adhering to the income guidelines outlined on page 4 of the application.
In addition to the application, we request the following:
- 2023 or 2022 Federal Income Tax return for all adults (18 and over) residing in your household
- Proof of income (W-2 forms, 3-4 recent pay stubs, income tax form, print-out from domestic relations, private child support letter from parent signed and dated, letter for SSI)
- Birth certificate of child
- Social security card of child
- Photo ID (Parent/Guardian)
- Immunization Records
- Completed Confidential Pre-K Counts Application
After enrollment, we request the following:
- Physical (completed after Jan. 1, 2024) - including vision, hearing, and dental screenings.
