Directions to Our Schools

For the Administration & Food Service Buildings: From PA Turnpike, take Irwin Exit 67 onto Rte. 30 East. Continue about 7 miles. Take the Rte. 136/West Newton Exit. Make a right onto Rte. 136 and go about 2 miles. Food Service is after the 3rd red light on the right side of Rte 136. At the 4th red light is the entrance to the High School. The Administration Building is the small building on the right side of the High School Entrance.

OR from Interstate 70 East: For the Administration & Food Service Buildings: After you pass the entrance to the PA Turnpike take the 2nd exit, Rte. 66 Turnpike North. Take Exit 3. Turn RIGHT onto Rte 136. The Administration Building is on your left at the first red light. Food Service is one house past the red light on your left.

For the Maintenance & Transportation Building

From Interstate 70 East: - Follow Rte. 66 Turnpike North. Take Exit 3. After the toll booth, turn LEFT onto Rte 136 West. At the stop sign, turn left continuing on Route 136 West. The building is on your left.

From PA Turnpike: Take Irwin Exit 67 onto Rte. 30 East. Continue about 1.5 miles. Take the Adamsburg exit and bear right. Continue on Adamsburg road until you come to a T in the road. Turn right onto Route 136 West. The building is on your left.

Fort Allen Elementary School

560 Baltzer Meyer Pike, Greensburg, PA 15601

From PA Turnpike, take Irwin Exit 67 onto Rte. 30 East. About 6 miles from the turnpike, take the West Newton Road Exit. At the stop sign, turn right onto Rte. 136. Follow through to the 3rd traffic and turn left onto Baltzer Meyer Pike. Follow Baltzer Meyer Pike 1/4 mile to the school on the left.

Harrold Middle School, Hempfield Senior High School & Spartan Stadium

Harrold Middle School: 1368 Middletown Road, Greensburg, PA 15601

Hempfield Area High School and Athletic Department Office: 4345 Route 136, Greensburg, Pa 15601

Spartan Stadium and Press Box: 4343 Route 136, Greensburg, Pa 15601

From PA Turnpike, take Irwin Exit 67 onto Rte. 30 East. Continue about 7 miles. Take the Rte. 136/West Newton Exit. Make a right onto Rte. 136 and go about 2 miles at the 4th red light Harrold Middle School is on the left the Senior High School is on the right, and Spartan Stadium is behind the High School.

OR from Rt. 22 East, Take PA 66 Turnpike South: Take Exit #4. At the exit ramp, turn left the schools are about 1 mile.

OR from Interstate 70 East: After you pass the entrance to the PA Turnpike take the 2nd exit, Rte. 66 Turnpike North. Take Exit 4 off Rte. 66 Turnpike North and turn right onto Rte 136. At the red light the High School and Spartan Stadium are to your left and Harrold Middle School is to your right.

Maxwell Elementary School

1101 Old Salem Road, Greensburg, PA 15601

From PA Turnpike Westbound, take New Stanton Exit 75 onto Rte. 119 North. Take Rte. 119 North, (for about 5 miles) after going through the town of Youngwood and then Greensburg. In Greensburg Rte. 119 North and Rte. 66 Business North become the same road. Now you stay on Rte. Business 66 North. (You will have many red lights). About 1 mile out of Greensburg, across from the Shop 'n Save Grocery Store, turn right at the red light. Then make a sharp left again, the school is on the right about 1/4 of a mile.

OR from Rte. 22 East: Take Rte. 66 Turnpike South. Take the first exit to old business Rte. 66. Stay on this road for several miles. You will see the school off on the left. If you come to the red light by Shop 'n Save Grocery Store you passed the school. Turn left at the light and then make a sharp left again, the school is on the right about 1/4 of a mile. If you stay on Rte. 66 Turnpike South by mistake then take Exit 5 Business Rte. 66, (North Main St.) turn left. Stay on Rte. 66 until you see the school on the left or come to the red light at the Shop 'n Save.

Stanwood Elementary School

255 Arona Road, New Stanton, PA 15672

From PA Turnpike, take New Stanton Exit 75 onto Rte. 119 North. Once on Rte. 119 North, take the 2nd exit, Rte. 66 Turnpike North. Take the 1st Exit off Rte. 66 Turnpike North to Arona Rd. Turn left on Arona Rd., the school is 1/3 mile on the right.

Wendover Middle School

425 Wendover Jr. High Road, Greensburg, Pa 15601

From PA Turnpike, take Irwin Exit 67 (old exit 7) onto Rte. 30 East. About 8 miles from the Turnpike, take the Mt. Pleasant Rd. Exit. At the stop sign, turn right. You will travel on Mt. Pleasant Rd. for approximately 2 miles. You will past the University of Pittsburgh campus and bear left at the sharp "Y" intersection just beyond the campus. Proceed over the crest of the hill and turn left onto Westland Dr. (at the brick entry wall into Wendover Plan). Go Straight on Westland. Continue 6/10ths of a mile and turn left on Wendover Jr. High Rd. This will take you into the school complex.

West Hempfield Elementary School

469 Wendel Road, Irwin, PA 15642

From PA Turnpike, take Irwin Exit 67 onto Rte. 30 East. At the 1st red light, turn right onto Arona Rd. On Arona Rd. at the 1st stop sign, turn right onto Wendel Rd. About 1/2 mile, the school is on the left.

West Hempfield Middle School

156 Northumberland Drive, Irwin, PA 15642

From PA Turnpike, take Irwin Exit 67 (old exit 7) onto Rte. 30 East. At the 1st red light, turn right onto Arona Rd. On Arona Rd. at the 1st stop sign, turn right onto Wendel Rd. Go past West Hempfield Elementary School and when you come to a "Y" in the road, bear left onto Bristol Lane. Turn left at the 2nd Street. Northumberland Road will lead you to the school.

West Point Elementary

533 St. Andrew's Drive, Greensburg, PA 15601

From PA Turnpike, take Irwin Exit 67 (old exit 7) onto Rte. 30 East. About 8 miles from the Turnpike, take the Mt. Pleasant Rd. Exit. At the stop sign, turn right. You will travel for approximately 2 miles on Mt. Pleasant Rd. You will past the University of Pittsburgh campus and bear left at the sharp "Y" intersection just beyond the campus.
